Somerset House Gallery in London has recently opened a new exhibition with works of most renowned tattoo artists of the world, including Ed Hardy, Horiyoshi III, Paul Booth, Rose Hardy, Chris Garver, Ami James, Mister Cartoon and tens of others. The event is curated by tattoo artists Claudia De Sabe and Tattoo Life magazine publisher Miki Vialetto.
Each exhibitor has created a unique and new work exploring the theme of time, life and death. The main and challenging condition was their medium will not include the skin surface, which they are normally accustomed to.
The exhibition presents stunning oil paintings, sculptures, airbrush, as well as results of experimenting with different surfaces such as real skulls, silk, canvas, plastic. The exhibition is free of charge and open until 5th October. For venue address and details, please go here.
