Children grow and change so much and so quickly. Catch those unique moment with a children portrait photo session giving you a good quality, professional photographs which you can enjoy for years to come.
The below session was arranged for mum’s birthday as a present. The subject was her only son and the strong bond they share. The boy, really focused on his toys did not feel like posing at all, so it took a bit of time to get to know him through conversation and questions. I showed him my camera and allowed to press buttons, showed the back screen and how his portraits looked like, which helped him open and warm up. Playing with his toys, getting to know their particular names got the boy’s trust and a bit more attention.
Now it came to a tricky part of him being a little patient and look at the camera 🙂 Several attempts and giggles after, we created some of the below photos successfully – the portrait session is a team work, especially with the little ones! Mum was helping and engaging throughout, parents’ presence is necessary for the child to feel safe and relaxed – thank you! The goal was for the photographs to show the child’s playful personality and attitude, how do you think it came out?
Enjoy the photos, leave the comments, opinions and what works would you like to see in the future.
